Steeped to Perfection: How to make the perfect cup of tea, every time

Tea has been a cherished beverage across the world for centuries. Whether you're a tea expert or new to it, a well-made cup of tea is unmatched. To enhance your tea-making skills, follow this easy guide on making the perfect cup of tea:

Step 1: Boil water

Once you've chosen your tea, it's time to boil some water. To get the best taste you should use fresh, cold water and bring it to a boil in a kettle or pot. Ideally, the water should reach a temperature of 212.

Step 2: Prepare your teapot or infuser

While your water is boiling, prepare your teapot or infuser. If you're using a teapot, add one teaspoon of tea per cup of water, plus one extra teaspoon for the pot. If you're using an infuser, simply add one teaspoon of tea per cup of water.

Step 3: Brew your tea

Once your water has reached the appropriate temperature, pour it over your tea leaves. Allow the tea to steep (sit) for 3-5 minutes.

Step 4: Enjoy

After your tea has steeped, it's time to enjoy it! You can add honey, milk, sugar or absolutely nothing if that’s how you like it. Sit back, relax, and savor the delicious flavor of your perfectly made cup of tea.
